It was not my first time spending the lunar new years overseas.

這不是我第一次在國外過春節了

The lunar new year's eve in 2009, I just arrived a strawberrry farm near Melbourne, Australia and I knew NO ONE! What a lonely NYE it was.

2009年的除夕，我剛到一個人生地不熟澳洲墨爾本附近的草莓園，是個相當孤單的一個除夕夜

This year, I had so much fun with my new friends who are from everywhere in the world.

今年，我和一大群來自世界各地的新朋友一起過節，很開心的一天！

After Skype with my lovely family in the morning (they just finished the family reunion dinner in Taiwan), I met my MA Design/ Design Management classmates at school.

近中午，跟已經結束年夜飯的台灣家人們Skype視訊結束後，我與同在這間學校念設計或設計管理的碩士班同學們碰面

We went to Tony's home for the Chinese new year's party with Jordie, Chinese, Hong Kong people, Indonesian, Indian, Korean and Taiwanese.

我們一大群人浩浩蕩蕩前往Newcastle人Tony的家，今天參與到這聚會的有英國東北部人，中國人，香港人，印尼人、印度人，韓國人以及台灣人

How international the party it was! Thanks Marc for inviting us!

這是個多麼國際化的年夜飯啊！謝謝Marc邀請我們大家

Our classmates cooked the traditional dishes from their countries for everyone. I chose an easy one, Coke Chicken.

我的同學們都各自準備了自己國家的菜餚，我則是選擇了一個簡單的─可樂雞

Besides, We made Chinese dumplings together before the reunion dinner and you could see the cultural differences by different kinds of dumplings.

除此，在年夜飯前，我們還一起包水餃；從水餃的不同型式，你甚至可以知道這是哪個國家的水餃

It is funny that when we started to eat, everyone became quiet and only focused on food. We had to move forward to get more food.

很有趣的，當我們開始吃東西後，頓時之間鴉雀無聲，大家非常專注於食物，我們得一直不停的往前走往前走，才能夾到更多不同的菜色

After dinner, we learned the words, "Happy New Year", in our own languages and some of the words were too difficult for us to prenounce.

在晚餐之後，我們還學了各個國家「新年快樂」的說法，其中有幾個語言實在太難發音了

We also talked about our traditional dances, our cultures. 

我們還聊了自己國家的傳統舞蹈，我們的文化差異等等

It is always interesting to learn something new, right?

學習、吸收新事物總是有趣的，不是嗎？
